Hardened and Outdoor Wi-Fi 7
The HPE Aruba Networking 760 Series Hardened Access Points take advantage of the increased capacity of the 6 GHz band to deliver high speeds, wider channels for multi-gigabit traffic, and less interference in environments where typical indoor APs can’t operate.
These small form factor APs have a built-in GPS receiver for Standard Power (SP) support and to help provide precision location services with FTM 802.11az capability.
Intelligent automation, AI insights, and unified infrastructure management, provided by HPE Aruba Networking Central, enhance wireless performance and help drive more efficient IT operations.
Dual radio, tri band coverage across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz delivers up to 4.3 Gbps maximum 5 GHz + 6 GHz aggregate data rate, using dual 2x2 MIMO radios (5 GHz and 6 GHz 2x2), or up to 5.8 Gbps (6 GHz 4x4). Supports up to 160 MHz wide channels.
Innovative dynamic antennas (integrated omni and directional, software provisioned) help customize the deployment to best suit a variety of different spaces (internal antenna models only, not supported on AP-764).
Purpose-built Models Address Tough Environments
The HPE Aruba Networking 760 Series Hardened Access Points includes three small form factor models that each include a built-in GPS receiver for Standard Power support and for providing precision location services with FTM 802.11az capability.
Designed for industrial indoor, outdoor environments, large public venues, and hazardous environments, the 760 series operates as Low Power Indoor (LPI) and Standard Power (SP) devices where available.
The HPE Aruba Networking AP‑763 Indoor AP operates as an indoor LPI/SP (composite) device and is ideal for indoor warehouses, LPVs, industrial facilities, and indoor enterprise, where directional‑LPI is required (IP50 rating).
The HPE Aruba Networking AP‑764 Hardened AP operates as an outdoor SP device and is ideal for industrial enclosures, LPV enclosures, potential mesh, and supports external antennas for connectorized requirements (IP66/67 rating).
The HPE Aruba Networking AP‑765 Outdoor AP operates as an outdoor SP and is ideal for outdoor Wi‑Fi 7 coverage, indoor or outdoor warehouses, LPV, and industrial facilities (IP66 / IP 67 rating). The HPE ANW AP‑765EX HazLoc AP is Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 certified for HazLoc applications.
Comprehensive Security Built-in
The HPE Aruba Networking 760 Series Hardened Access Points offer enhanced security with dynamic segmentation to mitigate the time-consuming and error-prone task of managing complex and static VLANs, ACLs, and subnets by dynamically assigning policies and keeping traffic secure and separated.
Network protection with stronger encryption and authentication with WPA3, secure credentials/keys storage for guest access with Enhanced Open, and user and IoT access policy enforcement firewalls.
AI-powered classification of all Wi-Fi clients and IoT devices through HPE Aruba Networking Central uses deep packet inspection to provide behavioral context that helps ensure devices are receiving proper policy enforcement and continuous monitoring.
To simplify policy enforcement, the HPE Aruba Networking 760 Series Hardened Access Points use the policy enforcement firewall (PEF) to encapsulate all traffic from the access point to the gateway (or mobility controller) for end-to-end encryption and inspection.
For enhanced device assurance, HPE Aruba Networking access points include a built-in TPM for secure storage of credentials and keys, and boot code.
Industrial IoT Ready Platform
The HPE Aruba Networking 760 Series Hardened Access Points can serve as flexible IoT platforms that bolster network security and provide coverage for a broad range of IoT devices without the need for network overlays for IoT devices.
Seamlessly onboard IoT devices with high‑power Bluetooth and 802.15.4/Zigbee radios that help simplify deploying and managing IoT devices. USB port supports additional connectivity to a broad range of IoT devices.
HPE Aruba Networking Central IoT Operations unifies visibility of IT and OT infrastructure within the network health dashboard by extending network monitoring, visibility, and insights to BLE, Zigbee, and other non-IP IoT devices.
The HPE Aruba Networking 760 Series Hardened Access Points can run IoT containerized applications from the application store within HPE Aruba Networking Central to move processing to the edge, making it ideal for real‑time AI inference.
A broad ecosystem of technology partners and certified solutions helps extend IoT capabilities and provide interoperability for easier installations and operations.
