V7 DDR5 has been designed to meet increasing needs for high performance and power efficient memory in a wide range of applications from client systems to high performance server platforms. DDR5 is designed to support scaling memory performance without degrading channel efficiency at higher speeds and has double the burst length and 32banks allowing for increased module capacity. Decision feedback equalization enables IO speed scalability for higher bandwidth and improved performance. DDR5 supports double the bandwidth compared to DDR4 and starts at speeds of 4800Mhz which is a considerable increase on the highest DDR4 speeds.
